An advocate for the arts, Monica is passionate about merging the complexities of reality into creative expressions. Monica started teaching creative writing in 2013, guiding young highschoolers along the exciting path of fictional storytelling. Al Bernstein

I am a professional actor, acting professor and award-winning filmmaker who works in film, television and on the stage. My career as an actor has been in Toronto, New York and Los Angeles. I have an MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School; trained at Circle in the Square and HB Studios and have studied with well renowned private teachers. One of my areas of specialization is on-camera acting. I focus on the importance of the given circumstances of a scene working from the inside out. As a professor, I combine the unpredictability of human behaviour and intimate acting techniques with strong interpersonal skills and empathy. I have a keen awareness along with expertise to communicate the depth of craft so that actors today can grow into fully three-dimensional bold artists.

He has been a professor of music history, music theory, as well performing regularly as a conductor. He has taught private one-on-one lessons for over a decade. These topics have included: Theory, music history, conducting, clarinet, saxophone, piano, and voice. He has seen students through the rigorous Royal Conservatory of Music examinations from grades 1-10 and through the ARCT process.

“I had a blast taking David's Improv class. He was great at guiding the session and provided us with fun games to practice our improv skills. I certainly gained some confidence by taking it and had a great time laughing with new friends.”

Robert S.

“The improv class is really fun! It’s like you can just be yourself. I really like my instructor. He’s really nice.”

"I am beyond happy with the quality of instruction on ConfettiHeads. My daughter looks forward to her weekly class and is engaged and active for the full hour. For a busy parent, the platform is easy to navigate as well.”

Ali’s Mom

"My daughter really enjoyed the Improv class. The teacher did a great job getting all the kids involved and I heard a lot of laughter, which was a great sign. We signed her up for more and she can't wait!"

Joel S.

"We would recommend the platform to friends. Signing up was super easy and quick! I enjoyed the GUI and found it quick and easy to navigate. From the Dad POV - Victoria created a safe learning environment where my children expressed their creativity and put pen to paper. All I could ask for 🙂 “

Derek R.

“My son Owen loved the magical sports creation class! He is a creative kid who love knights, armour, dragons, monsters, magic, and all the Harry Potter books. The magical sports creation fit in perfectly!"
